Wykład, zatytułowany ”The Art of Material”, zostanie wygłoszony w języku angielskim.

Prof. Pekka Salminen
Pekka Salminen (b. 1937), President, Founding Partner of PES-Architects.
Architect SAFA (MSc, Helsinki University of Technology 1966), Professor (honorary title granted by the President of Finland in 1998).
Pekka Salminen started his career at the offices of Aarne Ervi and Timo Penttilä in the 1960s. He established a private practice in 1968, today PES-Architects Ltd.
Salminen has served as President of the Finnish Association of Architects SAFA, he is a member of the Finnish Academy of Technical Sciences. He also has been a member of architects’ associations in Croatia and Germany. He received the Finnish State Prize for the Arts in 2002.
Pekka Salminen has worked and participated actively in China since 2003 in more than 60 architectural competitions and received 14 first prizes. Salminen’s main works are the Lahti City Theatre and Helsinki Airport Terminal 2 in Finland, the Marienkirche Concert Hall in Germany, the Wuxi Grand Theatre and the Fuzhou Strait Culture and Art Centre in China.
